Greetings from Indonesia! In our Indonesia, Roberts Liardon Ministries build Spirit Life Bible College and these SLBC students are always busy with evangelism, laying hands on the people. Our SLBC graduates preached at a prison and a high school chapel service; taught at the Singles Fellowship and did a weekend seminar at a University Fellowship. They took the students and did a service in one of the local prisons. The students did the music and a testimony and our US SLBC graduates preached while an Indonesian student interpreted. Many were touched by the gospel they heard from our SLBC instructors. They send a team of five to Banding to teach at a seminar for college students at the oldest and most prestigious universities in Indonesia. We had several graduates from Roberts Liardon’s Bible College in the U.S. teaching classes and taking students out to local mission trips in villages near Semarang on the island of Java. It took them 12 hours to drive to the village where they reached out to lepers, giving them medicines, tooth brushes, and soaps. The team had a great time with the lepers and the lepers were blessed. Many of them came to know Christ as their Lord and Savior. Through the donations of some local churches the team was able to buy bath towels for almost 100 lepers. Many of them didn’t own a towel. They have been several opportunities to minister to the flood victims and meeting their needs. Many are accepting Christ as their Lord. Our Indonesian teams are also preaching in different Churches and reaching out to local communities in the city of Jakarta. |
