The
main purpose of Operation 500 Philippines is to raise up a generation
of people who will go into the nations and minister in the strength
of the Spirit. While Spirit Life Bible College Asia serves as the
training ground for that generation to be prepared, Embassy Christian
Center Davao serves as the base from which that ministry goes forth.
Embassy
Christian Center is not just an average local church, it has a vision
to reach the nations and be a hub for ministers especially in Asia.
We believe the call to missions is not limited to just Americans
or other "Western" nations.

Embassy
Christian Center
In this great day of the apostolic and prophetic movement in the
nations, there is still no substitute in the life of Christian ministers
than the local church. The local assembly is of paramount importance.
ECC
Davao’s first service was held in June 2003. The
church continues to grow in number and spiritual strength.
Kids
on the GO!
"Kids on the Go!"
(KOTG) is a ministry reaching children in the impoverished area
of Shrine Hills. We are raising up a new generation that will change
the nation of the Philippines! With over 200 families living nearby
and no Christian church in the immediate area, Shrine Hills is definitely
a place that needs to have the Gospel spread! KOTG is doing that
through drama, teaching, memory verses and crafts! The children
love being picked up by the jeepney (a long jeep) that drives along
the main road of Shrine Hills every Saturday afternoon, playing
the KOTG song thru a megaphone! The kids are very excited as they
arrive at the basketball court, where the ministry is conducted,
and begin playing with hula hoops, jump ropes, and beach balls before
the ministry starts! Soon then, praise and worship begins, and the
presence of God fills the central area of Shrine Hills! The heavens
open and God begins to touch these children and impact their lives
forever through the ministry of Kids On the Go!

Spirit
Life Bible College - Asia
"The
nations are not looking for people they have to help; they are looking
for people who can help them."
The
purpose of Spirit Life Bible College is to bring people from all
nations together to teach them, impart the power of God into their
lives and train them to bring revival and reformation to the earth.
SLBC is a spiritual college. Its central purpose is to teach students
how to build a strong inner man and to be led by the Holy Spirit
on a daily basis.
The
aim of SLBC is to facilitate the growth of Spirit-life, as well
as to provide academic support for the practical side of life and
ministry. This principle of Spirit-life sets SLBC apart from other
institutions
Through
the collaborative elements of academic excellence and Spirit-life,
God is using SLBC to raise a new generation of reformers and revivalists
who will invade their nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

| Campus
Ministry
North
Life’s Purpose…to Reach non-believing students and Connect
them with Believers, to Equip them for Service and to Uplift God.
We do
this in many ways, with “campus ministry” being our
main focus. We have been able to go into the high schools and proclaim
the Gospel to the students through drama, games and bible studies.
1) Connect…We
connect the students with other believers by inviting them to our
“weekend program” (North Life).
2) Equip…We
equip them during our “weekend program” by discipleship,
training and motivating them to do evangelistic drama, dance and
any other talent they would want to pursue. Each talent is harnessed
for the purpose of Evangelism.
3) Service…We
do this by organizing a monthly outreach where they can use their
talents to reach out to the community, share the Love of Christ
and proclaim the Gospel.
4) Uplift…We
also create time during our “weekend program” for the
students to show their love to God through pray, worship and many
other ways.

Family
Ministry
Stand
back and look at the structure that is most often attacked by the
enemy. It is the family unit. Attacks against this unit are various
and cunning and we need to guard against these. The family ministry
is designed to educate families against these attacks, giving them
the weapons and tools to build a strong family and help with natural
needs that arise within the confines of a family unit.
We meet natural needs of infants, children and pregnant ladies.
We try to provide food, clothing and hygiene products to our families.
Additionally we educate them in natural aspects of life like hygiene
and health care.

Livelihood
Projects
|
| What
do you do when everything you have ever known is torn away from
you in a day? Everything you have ever learned to do to earn money
is taken? It is a traumatic situation to find yourself in and one
that happens far too frequently in Davao to ignore.
We have chosen to provide a "step-up" to these families
using business training and trading courses. A basic business course
is taught and then the students are encouraged to trade with us
as they learn the practical side of business. We sell the students
raw materials and they sell us the finished product which we then
sell to provide additional funding for Love the Children orphanage.
Project
Joseph
Project
Joseph has been initiated by Embassy Christian Center to minister
to the local body and community in a practical way. We are commanded
by the Word of God to meet the physical needs of our fellow man.
Jesus
teaches us in Matthew 25 that the day will come when God will gather
all the nations and separate the righteous from the unrighteous.
The standard that will be used to identify those who will inherit
the kingdom is simple. The ones who fed the hungry and watered the
thirsty, who clothed the naked, who visited the sick and imprisoned,
and who housed the homeless will enter God's kingdom. He said, "Inasmuch
as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren,
you have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40)
We
are charged by our Lord to not only feed the hungry souls with the
Word of God, but also to care for the physical needs of food, clothing,
and shelter.
The
Bible tells us that Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream and forecasted
seven years of abundance followed by seven years of famine. As a
result Pharaoh installed Joseph as prime minister of Egypt.
Under
Joseph's leadership, crop surpluses were raised and food was available
for the hungry. In spite of great famine in the land, the children
of God were fed and cared for.
Like
Joseph, we have a vision at Embassy Christian Center to care for
the needs of our body and the community. Local mass distributions
will be done on a monthly basis beginning with the Spirit Life Bible
College students and the church. Individual needs will be cared
for as they arise and as resources are available. As we grow, our
food ministry will touch the community and spread to the nations.
By being faithful in our small beginnings, God will increase our
territorial responsibilities, and our vision will manifest fully.

| Prison
Ministry
'I
needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after
me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' Matthew 25:36
We
currently go into the main jail here in Davao City two Sunday’s
a month. This is where we hold an afternoon church service which
includes praise and worship, testimonies and the preaching of the
Word. We not only minister the Word of God in preaching and teaching
and by giving New Testament Bibles to the inmates, but we also minister
to the direct physical needs of the prisoners, providing them with
hygiene packs. These packs contain: laundry soap, body soap, toothpaste,
toothbrushes and we throw in some cookies as well, for the women
we add shampoo and some other personal items. We provide these every
month.

If
you are interested in helping with the cost of the hygiene
packs we would greatly appreciate
it. Or you can help us give every prisoner a Whole Bible.
There are approximately 70 prisoners that come to our church services.
To provide these men and women with the entire Bible (not just a
New Testament) costs $2.70 each. $2.70 X 70 = $189.00.
